How do I assign a category to a record?

To add a new category for your record, complete the steps below:

  1. From the dashboard, click on the green circle with a plus sign (+) at the bottom of the screen to add a record (new transaction).
  2. Click "New Record"
  3. Enter the details of your transaction 
  4. Click on Category to choose a category.
  5. Select a main category from the list of available categories. If you want to use a subcategory click on the arrow to the right. 
  6. Click on the check mark on the top right corner of the screen to Save.

The next time you need to assign a category, it will show under the "last used" categories list.

    Hi, it's not possible to change category for records automatically imported from bank account. Is it at least possible to teach Wallet category mapping for some recurring transaction? Let's say I pay quite frequently at a restaurant, which Wallet doesn't recognize well and assigns it wrong category every time - is it possible to teach Wallet category mapping for this recurring transaction?
