Sharing a video recording of the connection process or a bug report is essential for a quicker and clearer understanding of the issue. It accelerates the resolution process and promotes a more effective collaboration.
How to record your screen
iOS
- Go to your device Settings -> Control Center, then tap the Add button "" next to Screen Recording.
- Open Control Center on your iOS device.
- Touch and hold the gray Record button "", then tap Microphone to turn it on or off.
- Tap Start Recording, then wait for the three-second countdown.
- To stop recording, open Control Center, then tap the red Record button "". Or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.
- Save this to your Google Drive
- Send Google Drive link to the support ticket, and make sure to set the permissions of the file to "Anyone with this link".
Android
- Open the Quick settings panel by swiping down from the top of the screen with two fingers. Then, tap Screen recorder
- Tap Start recording.
Note: If the Screen recorder icon is not there, you can add it to the Quick settings panel. - Save this to your Google Drive
- Send Google Drive link to the support ticket, and make sure to set the permissions of the file to "Anyone with this link".
Note: Some of these steps may work only on Samsung which is being demonstrated. These steps might be different on your phone
MacOS
- To view the Screenshot toolbar, press these three keys together: Command + Shift + 5. You will see onscreen controls for recording.
- Select the 4th icon, and tap Record.
- Save this to your Google Drive
- Send Google Drive link to the support ticket, and make sure to set the permissions of the file to "Anyone with this link".
Windows 10/11
- Make sure the browser you're using Wallet WebApp with is selected
- Hold Windows Key + Alt + R to start recording
- Hold Windows Key + Alt + R again to stop the recording
- Your recording will be saved under .../Videos/Captures folder
- Save this file to your Google Drive folder then send us a link
