Labels help you group together income and expense Records and filter them out separately as you wish. They also help you budget more quickly and efficiently. You can add up to five Labels in every Record you make in Wallet. Here's how to ADD, EDIT, or DELETE a Label.
To ADD/CREATE LABELS:
to a new Record:
. When creating a new Record, after entering the amount, category and account, tap on the arrow on the right to add more details to the Record.
. Tap on the Label field to add your Label, or to create and add a new Label.
. Type a name for your Label, set a color for it and tap save.
*Choosing different Label colors is a Premium feature.
to an existing Record:
1. Tap on the Record you want to edit.
2. Tap on the Label field to add (or edit) a Label.
-in Settings:
Go to Settings in the side menu (More > Settings for iOS) > Labels.
Tap on the + icon at the bottom (or top for iOS).
Type a name and choose a color.
Tap on the checkmark on the top right corner to create your new Label.
To Edit your LABELS:
while editing a Record:
Tap on the Record you want to edit.
In the Labels field, tap on the + icon to edit your Labels.
-in Settings:
Go to Settings in the side menu (More > Settings for iOS) > Labels.
Here you can see all your current Labels; tap on one to edit it.
Tap on the checkmark in the top right corner to save your changes.
To DELETE LABELS:
from a Record:
- Tap on the Record, then tap the 'x' of the Label you wish to delete.
from your Wallet account entirely:
Go to Settings in the side menu (More > Settings for iOS) > Labels.
Here you can see all your current Labels; tap on one to delete it.
Click the trash icon on the top right corner of the screen ('Delete Label' for iOS).
Tap yes in the dialogue box to delete the Label.
Labels can also be deleted from the Reports, Charts, and Budgets sections by tapping on Add Label > Settings. You will be directed to the Labels section, where you can follow the above steps.
